In fundamental ways, we are all indigenous. Our five year old grandson, Ginew (Golden Eagle), said, “The Earth is our home, and it’s beautiful!” Such wisdom from the innocence of a child.
We are all connected. We feel that and live our lives from that place. There is only one race – the human race.
We are saying special prayers for all our relatives affected by Hurricane Gustav on the Gulf Coast. May they be safe, and know they are loved. And we pray for the healing of our Mother Earth.
